Azure Restaurant presents an exclusive food & wine pairing dinner with Rudera Wines

Look forward to a plethora of smells, sights and gourmet delights when you join Executive Chef Christo Pretorius and Rudera Wines on Friday 28 August 2015 for an evening at the Twelve Apostles Hotel’s Azure Restaurant for an exclusive Food & Wine Pairing Dinner.

Your palate will be tempted with an exquisite four-course menu, paired with the finest Rudera vintages of Chenin Blanc, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon and Noble Late Harvest.

Guests will be warmly welcomed at the event with a glass of Rudera de Tradisie Chenin Blanc 2011 before sitting down to the Amuse Bouche of Cured Dusky Kob pate with a melon vinaigrette followed by the first course of the evening a Mozambique Langoustine with malay spiced butternut, curried lentils, gremolata, cumin yogurt cheese and a gooseberry compote served with the iconic Rudera Robusto Chenin Blanc 2011.
This is followed by the Joostenberg Duck confit, soy glazed mushrooms and consommé, with parsnip and truffle croutons accompanied by the Rudera Platinum Cabernet Sauvignon 2009.
Moving on to the main course, Azure’s team will present a Springbok Loin with crispy bacon, savoy cabbage, baked celeriac, pickled cranberries with a smoked jus to complement the Rudera Syrah 2012.
To complete the evening, the Rudera Noble Late Harvest 2007 will be enjoyed with a Dulcey Mousse of calamansi ice cream and gel, a touch of whipped hazelnut ganache on a salted peanut sponge.
